Metastatic disease: While i always say that anything is possible- however, unforunately, when a cancer has spread beyond the primary organ- stage IV disease- it is an incurable disease , although in many cases is still treatable. Realistically, a 5 year survival rate for stage IV colon cancer is around 5%. The median overall survival would be around 2-3 years.
