Yes: Dulcolax is a laxative. It works directly in your digestive system and absorption into your blood and then the nursing baby is minimal to none. As an alternative a stool softener may be better is that is the problem. Remember, laxatives should be taken as infrequently as possible to avoid your colon to become dependent on them.
