1-2 weeks: Your eyelid will heal in 1-2 weeks after a chalazion incision and curettage, typically. Your surgeon should have discussed this with you.

Usually a week or so: Depending on how the surgery is done, and how bad the chalazion, it usually takes a week or so to heal. I usually drain chalazia from the inside surface of the lid after injecting local anesthetic. After the material is drained, there is residual inflammation of the lid that can take a week or so to resolve. I usually use ice and an anti-inflammatory ointment post op to speed the process.

2-3 weeks: All swelling should be gone in 2-3 weeks. The incision on the inside of the lid will also be healeds within that period of time. There should be no discomfort after 1 week.
