Not much if mild: Mild narrowing is common and increasing with age, more severe in folks with atherosclerosis (diabetes, high blood pressure, hi cholesterol, smoking, family history= risks). As it becomes more narrow, dizziness/fainting may occur. If a narrowing area rupture, throwing off a piece (clots) it can result in stroke etc... So best is to reduce risk factors. Check with your doc. Stay healthy... Good luck.

Stroke: Is the worst one. Tia or mini stroke also. Numbness or weakness of face of limbs. Difficulty speaking. Vision changes. Sometimes headache and nausea.
