Mini-Strokes: Tia's or transient ischemic attacks are stoke-like symptoms which resolve within 24hrs. Temporary unilateral visual loss described as a curtain coming down (amaurosis fugax), temporary difficulty with speech, unilateral facial drooping, or weakness are common mini-stroke or TIA like symptoms.
