Generally,: B12 injections are given intramuscularly on a monthly basis for pernicious anemia. If you are having difficulties administering the medication, and given that you are asking about the frequency of administration as well, seems to me you should see your dr. To address these concerns. While injections into fat are better than no injections, bioavailability is likely to be better with im injection.
