If diagnosed with pernicious anemia and iron deficient anemia but they are both treated with b12 injection and iron infusion and labs are back to normal but rdw is still highwhat could be causing the high rdw? the pa/ida or something else?

It takes time for the RDW to be normalized, not at the same time with Hb/Hct.

All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, high RDW is not a cause for concern. It will normalize in time. Wish you good health!
