SNRI vs DNRI: Depression has 2 major pathways in the brain, the emotional pathway which causes sadness, crying guilt, suicidal thoughts, anxiety, worry and the 'cognitive' pathway which causes lack of attention, concentration, energy, motivation, pleasure, sex drive. If you have 'emotional' symptoms choose ssri or snri, if you have 'cognitive symptoms chose dnri, many times these overlap and meds also overlap.

Antidepressant: I am not sure if you meant ssri instead of dnri. Snris and ssris are used for depression primarily. One way or the other, it is often "pick one" approach. If one works, then you stay on it. If two in the same class don't work, then go to the next class.

Avoid side effects: Wellbutrin (bupropion) is often used to lower risk of sexual side effects, emotional blunting caused by other meds or because it is more energizing. If you have a primary anxiety disorder it will not treat that, but it will help if the anxiety is due to depression. Never ever double the dose or you might hallucinate or have a seizure. Do not take if you have a history of bulimia or a seizure disorder. Best wi.
