Is it possible to get cervical or vaginal damage during a pap smear/pelvic exam? is there a test that can detect this problem? or can it heal by itself?

Nothing's impossible: But this is almost there. This is a generally very benign procedure, and if it produced any damage at all, which is improbable, it would be minimal. Good luck, .
