A Machine?: That question probably takes the cake. I know of no machine performing this surgery. You can always verify this with your gynecologist.

No: You would not be able to tell what was used by looking at the incisions. You could probably figure out the route (abdominal, vaginal, or laparoscopic) by looking at the incisions.
