Is it safe to get hysterectomy done before angioplasty?

Talk with doctor: If you have a heart condition a hysterectomy could be more risky. Speak with your cardiologist about risks of hysterectomy before and after angioplasty. It may also depend on the reason for the hysterectomy since if done because of for instance heavy bleeding - that can be a stress on the heart.

Angangioplasty: It really depends on the urgency of either of the procedures. In general it is preferred that the heart be in good condition prior to any other surgery. Also the sseverity of the coronary blockage is a factor.
