Monitor your diet: You need to see a nutritionist and get serious about your diabetes. You had the two things that can raise you blood sugar. Alcohol and sweets can raise your postprandial blood sugar. Please take the time now to educate yourself and take control of your diabetes.

Start learning: Diabetes is a lifelong disease and it takes a lot of trials and errors to be good at controlling it. While the two numbers listed above are not bad, i recommend you start learning about diabetes: go to american diabetes association website, talk to your doctor, talk to your dietician/nutritionist/certified diabetes educator. If you don't have one, ask your doctor for a referral. Good luck.
