Sunburn vs Poisoning: Sun poisoning is systemic illness causing nausea, weakness, headache, dizziness, decreased sweating and high temperature, it is a very serious illness and should be evaluated and treated emergently. Severe sun burns can cause some systemic symptoms like above but are more local symptoms such as deep reddening of the skin with swelling and blistering with worsening pain. Seek help.
