No: This arachnid is not a spider. It is in the order Opiliones. Opiliones is a distinct order that is not closely related to spiders within the order Arachnida. It doesn't contain poison glands and it's fangs are too short and its mouth too round and small to bite a human and therefore is not dangerous.
