Pain, neuro symptoms: Cancer in the thoracic spine will often cause back pain. If it is pinching a nerve or the spinal cord itself it can cause numbness and/or weakness in the torso and legs, trouble walking, or problems going to the bathroom such as incontinence, constipation, weak stream, or incomplete emptying. If it has made the bones weak it can hurt with weight bearing or when lying flat.
