A member asked:

How is spine cancer diagnosed. are pain along spine, upper back pain, headaches, arm pain, chest bone pain symptoms ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See below: Primary cancer of the spine is uncommon and could be one of many things, e.g., bone cancer, tumor of spinal cord, tumor of the meninges, blood vessel tumor etc. Metastatic tumors to the vertebrae are far more common. It would require a detailed history, physical examination, imaging studies and blood tests to make a diagnosis. It would be prudent to see your doctor.
