AC joint: The shape of the AC joint varies significantly among people. Some can have very prominent joints, while others have smoother appearing joints. There can be differences in one side compared to the other as well. This is especially true if there was a previous injury to the AC joint. If there is no pain, there is unlikely any serious problem.
