Need check up: You need through endoscopic eexamination, for recurrence , if you have gerds get it treated , give enough rest to vocal cords , do not smoke , no drinking , do not abuse the voice , no constant screening even if your job calls for it , and your voice will improve.

Many causes: Overuse and vocal strain are common causes of hoarseness. But there are a number of other causes that warrant investigation. You should seek referral to an otolaryngologist (ear, nose and throat specialist) who can examine your vocal cords in the office and make a recommendation about next steps to diagnose and treat.
