Dermatology: Folliculitis decalvans is an inflammatory alopecia causing bogginess or induration of scalp with pustules, erosions, crusts, scaling. Begins at a central point and spreads outward, leaving scarring, sores, and hair loss. No cure has been found but therapy with Rifampin and Clindamycin 300mg each twice a day for 3 to 5 months patients have seen limited to complete improval.
