No: The muscles that are supplied by those nerves will atrophy and you will notice decrease in size of those muscles. You can loose sensation and/or motor to limbs/muscles/dermatomes depending what nerves are injured and how bad they injured. Treatment will be based on increasing function and independence and avoiding further nerve injury. Even with severe neuropathy, you can still lead a full life.
