Preferably avoid: Ideally, all medications should be avoided during early pregnancy. Of course, each individual patient has multiple factors to decide which way the risk-to-benefit ratio ends up panning out. It is possible that the risk of not taking Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) is so high for the individual mother that it might be better to say on it. Still, best to discuss this with your obgyn & your physician prescribing adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine).
