ONLY IF NECESSARY!: Fda pregnancy category c: not known if this med will harm unborn baby; may cause premature birth, low birth wt, or withdrawal symptoms in newborn (listless, agitated) if mother takes Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) during pregnancy. Tell doctor if pregnant/plan to become pregnant while on adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine). Amphetamine can pass into breast milk & may harm nursing baby. Should not breast-feed while using adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine).

Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine): Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) is labeled as "category c' with regards to it's use in pregnancy. What that means is that it has not been tested sufficiently in pregnancy to be able to give a definitive answer. That being the case, i would not risk harm to your unborn child if it is at all possible to stay off Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) during your pregnancy.
