Depends . . .: Depends upon which vitamins to which you are referring as well as some of your own health habits. For instance, vitamin a & smoking don't mix as studies show an increase in lung cancer risk. Otoh, vitamin d looks good. Please discuss details w/your doc.

Depends: Water soluble vitamins, like vitamin c, will flush out of your system. They may change the color of your urine, but no harm. Fat soluble vitamins will store up in your system and can become toxic.

Over Doing It: It is so well known in medicine that more is not in any way better. In fact taking too much of something, including vitamins, can be damaging to your health, your kidneys, your liver. Please get some sanity. If you want to take a vitamin please follow the instructions on the bottle. More is not better when it comes to medications, vitamins, and supplements.
