Because it was tired: From going wee wee wee all the way home? When a toe feels like it's "asleep, " this is a nerve issue, not a circulation issue. The nerve in question can be in your toe, higher in your foot or leg, or even in your lower back. Some simple neurological tests can help pinpoint the location, and nerve conduction testing also helps. See a neurologist about this.
