A member asked:

How can a doctor exam to know if i have a mole or wart or if its skin cancer?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Experience : An experienced physician can usually diagnose skin disorders just by seeing and examining the patient. Many lesions like moles and warts are easily diagnosed, while others need to be biopsied to determine exactly what they are. I would recommend seeing your physician for a skin check if you notice any lumps or bumps that concern you. A biopsy will prove for certain whether or not it is a cancer.
