Can a tia be caused by having hit your head very hard?

Unlikely : It is possible to see transient neurological deficits as a result of head injury and concussion however TIA would be very unlikely since it is usually a vascular event. Neurological evaluation by doctor would be recommended and imaging is usually helpful.
