A member asked:

After being hit around the head quite hard, what could be the cause of random blackouts which last anywhere between an hour and 5 minutes?

Get seen immediately: Well, young lady. Seeing as how you're international I don't think I'm bound by age restrictions to give you advice though it would be nice to know your parents are involved in this problem as well. If your "blackout" times are accurate and have occurred following a forceful blow to the head then, you need to get your parents or guardian to get you to a doctor such as a NEUROLOGIST for a visit.

Seizure vs. migraine: You should consult a neurologist since in the differential diagnosis is seizure vs. migraine phenomenon.
