How hard do you have to hit your head to cause epilesy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Too hard: Epilepsy can develop when there is scarring of the brain. This can occur in many ways. Repetitive shaking of the baby brain can cause permanent devastating effects even when each single event appears minor. A single dramatic fall with skull fracture can occur without loss of consciousness, the child walks away and recovers fully. A minor blow the the side of the head may rapidly evolve to coma.
