Probably OK: You didn't say what strength you were taking but if you have been taking this amount (3 a day) for awhile it shouldn't be dangerous. Do you have stomach cancer? That might require different or stronger medication. You need to discuss with your doctor.

Depends: Normally lortab has 500mg tylenol (acetaminophen) in it. Normal people without liver disease should not take more than 3 gram per day. If your doctor only give you 3 per day, please follow the instruction taking it. If you need to take more please talk to the doctor who prescribe your lortab.If your doctor think it is appropriate he might adjust the medication for you. Please do not drink alcohol with it!
