Foot pain, flight: If it didn't start until 10 days after the flight, it is probably not connected. If you meant to say you have had 10 solid days of foot pain beginning on the flight, then that is different. Uncomfortable swelling often occurs and can be treated with elevation alternating with walking, and support hose. If that doesn't help, you may be unlucky enough to have a blood clot in your leg. See a doctor.

DVT Plantar faciitis: This could be a DVT or blood clot. However, the bottom of the foot is not common for a clot. More likely you have plantar fascitiis. Try stretching your calf and achilles like a runners stretch 3 -4 times a day. Wear supportive shoes and otc orthotics. Also could try ice and massage and ibuprofen.
