Hard to say: I am not sure i fully understand your question and you may want to be seen. An isolated fracture at the tip of the fibula can be treated non operatively and sometimes the swelling can track down to the top of the foot. It is also possible you have also injured your foot itself. Consider being evaluated. Thank you for the question.
