Muscle pain: It appears to be a muscle spasm in the trapezius muscle. Try some ice if it is a few days old. If longer try some moist heat like a warm compress. Put a wet towel in the microwave and warm it. Test is with your hand, so it does not burn your skin. Then place it on your shoulder for twenty mins each hour. You can also take some Motrin for the pain 600 mg, 3 tabs of the 200 mg tabs. Good luck!
