Probably not: Amoxicillin is dosed every 8 hours or every 12 hours. It depends on how your prescription was written. At any rate, if you dosed at 4 pm, you need to wait until 12 midnight for the 8 hour dose. So, you might need to wake him up after bedtime to give him the antibiotic. As always, you can call the doctor who prescribed the rx for specific instructions.
