My son is two yrs old and his diapers smell really bad and he's been peeing more often. it's a weekend should i be worried? should he go to the er?

Possible UTI: Is he crying or acting in any way different than usual? Is the urine more concentrated or discolored than usual? How many diapers are you going through and does he have a fever or chills or abdominal pain? If anything seems unusual, better to be safe and simply get your son seen.
