My 5 month old had a pink spot a cm or two across in a pee diaper. he's had this before 6 weeks ago, after his 4 month vaccinations; dr and i figured it was a fluke, though it happened a few times that week. this is the first time in 5 weeks. ?

UA: He may have irritation of his skin but a urinalysis is indicated to rule out other renal causes. Avoid harsh soaps and lotions , and please see your pediatrician.

Not unusual: Occasionally pee stains can have a pinkish or pink/orange character from the urate crystals deposited by dry urine.
