Tendinitis : Or possibly muscle strain. Either way should heal with rest supportive shoes and anti inflammatory. Best to have it checked out to confirm.

Possible: It's fascitis but usually symptoms occur to inside of foot arch near heel. Cold be your lateral band or possible nerve entrapment . See your doctor.

Maybe: The exact location is important for the diagnosis. If it is the outside of the foot near the arch, this is an area associated with the 5th metatarsal. There is a large tendon that attaches here. It may be inflammed. If there was an injury, there may be a fracture. See a podiatrist.
