Pain at outside of foot near arch when i take a step. is this plantar fasciitis? have previous diagnosis - never understood. feels like broken bone.

Maybe: The exact location is important for the diagnosis. If it is the outside of the foot near the arch, this is an area associated with the 5th metatarsal. There is a large tendon that attaches here. It may be inflammed. If there was an injury, there may be a fracture. See a podiatrist.
