Tendonitis : It could be but the more likely cause of your pain is a tear in the posterior tibial tendon which helps to support the arch. Most dancers can get this because of the extreme positions they put the foot in. I would recommend seeing a specialist as soon as possible in that this type of injury if left untreated can ruin a dance career.
