RCT reactions: It's hard to tell if the weird taste is coming from a complication from the rct, but i would go back to the dentist who did the root canal. From the context of your question, it seems like your discomfort is getting worse instead of better. I would have that checked out.

Need an x-ray: Many times a root canal can go bad or "not take". Express your concerns with the doc that did the rct to re-evaluate.
