Is it normal that my gum feels itchy after a tooth extraction?its been a week now (2nd molar). ive had itching on and off and assumed its healing?

Appears Normal: People heal differently, and depending on the difficulty of the extraction, it can take up to two weeks for the gingiva to close over the socket. Do you have sutures? After a week the sutures can be saturated with bacteria and that can certainly cause the area to feel "itchy". If you have no real pain or swelling, you should be fine.
