Depression: You could well have depression; it's a very common illness. Sometimes people know why they're crying; sometimes not. You can get help from your doctor -- initial health workup, and referrals to psychologist and psychiatrist for more definitive evaluation & treatment as needed. Suggest you avoid alcohol as this can exacerbate depression. Make sure your diet is healthy, w/good exercise too.

Quite possible: It sounds like you are depressed- here is a questionairre that helps with diagnosis: http://psychcentral.Com/depquiz.Htm while standard treatment these days is drugs, i advise a more holistic approach; check for low thyroid, nutrient deficiencies etc. Counseling, exercise & supplements like 5-htp, st. John's wort & same can be as or more effective than drugs. Homeopathy can help too. Seek care.
