C. difficile: The question is how were you diagnosed with c. Difficile colitis? Were you treated? If you were it seems as if the condition, if it ever existed, is under control. Sometimes cl. Difficile toxin can be detected in stools without the organism and its products actually causing clinically relevant disease. Hope you remain well. Good luck.

C diff: If you are diagnosed with c diff infection, you should be treated with antibiotics for 10 days even if your diarrhea is resolved. However, if u are having constipation, make sure u do not have abdominal pain/distention, feeling worse since this could be a sign of severe course of c diff infection.
