Yes: How remote from hysterectomy, why do you have inflmmation? Nsaids in general are very good antainflammatory medications and should help. But most important is to define what is the problem at hand.

Yes and depends: We are ensuring this isn't peritonitis with sig GI & swelling & pain issues. Nsaids help well and if narcotics were prescribed, in short-term, reduced dose NSAID & reduced dose narcotic usually help much better than either alone in higher doses. Ask if GI meds are needed for long-tern NSAID use rather than just ensuring taking NSAID w/ food.
