Sometimes: Simply taping the foot helps. This is easy to do (use correct tape). You can use a few steps of tape. The idea is to take the tension off the fascia, start with tape below outer ankle come under the foot and then come across the top from the other side. Stop midline on the top of the foot. You can apply one or two strips. Works well.
