Yes: Having a bunionectomy does not mean you can no longer run. Many athletes return to running and sports activity following bunion surgery that has been performed by a board certified foot surgeon. Make sure your surgeon performs bunionectomies on a regular basis and you'll be in good hands if you decide to have the surgery.
