How well can your foot recover from a bunionectomy?

Recovery from surger: This depends on your overall health and diet and lifestyle. Optimizing healing comes from optimizing your immune system. Eat a properly balanced diet of whole grains, protein and essential, unsaturated fats. Reduce your stress. Drink plenty of water and follow all post-op instructions completely.

Less pain. : In the short-term, surgery can be painful. But after you heal, you should have decreased pain and possibly more motion at the big toe joint. There are many different types of bunionectomy, but the most common involve a small bone cut, sliding a portion of the bone back into place to straighten the foot, and using a small screw to hold it firmly while you heal.
