Diabetes: Diabetics have a 19% greater risk of getting non-hodgkin’s lymphoma. The cause of the increased is unclear. This lymphoma occurs when circulating immune cells proliferate out of control. In order to get TB you must be exposed to the organism, but diabetes is an important risk factor for active tuberculosis and might affect disease presentation and treatment response. Solid tumors may be: More common, "usual" infections, but probably not lympoma or tb. Heart, kidney, vision risks as well as mortality higher. So, don't smoke, exercise, follow your diet and quit worrying about the unlikely.
