Ask "they"...: Sounds like you have already seen a medical professional for your symptoms if you have had an x-ray. It is not clear what type of x-ray you had or where the shadow was in a lung or in a bony structure. In any respect, the physician who ordered the study would be the most qualified person to give you an idea of diagnosis and rec. Further treatment.
