What does it mean when i turn a certain way, a pain/pressure hits my shoulder blade n shoots down my back? could it be something serious?

Not sure : Most likely it's due to tight muscles. Sometimes a bone spur on the vertebra can pinch a nerve. Though rare, other more serious things like a tumor can pinch the nerve, but this is unlikely. You should let your doctor do an exam to see what's going on & get you feeling better.
