Infection: Yellow eyes in a 10 year old usually means infection. Hepatits and mono would be most common. There are many other possible causes including yellow fever. Please see both your specialist eye md and your family doctor.

Not Normal: The yellow appearance of the white of the eye is known as jaundice, and is a worrisome sign for liver or hematologic (blood) problems. Bring her to the doctor asap for an complete examination.
