See a doctor: This sounds serious. This may represent extension of infection in the bone itself. A simple uncomplicated nodule, even if it was infected, should not be causing systemic symptoms of this nature. Sounds like severe infection, and it would be beneficial to either start with your pcp or see an infectious diseases expert asap. Make a chronological list of all symptoms. Good luck.
